An accident this afternoon on the R512 near
Lanseria left one person dead and another critically injured.
ER24 Spokesperson Russel Meiring said upon
arrival on scene the vehicle was lying next to the road on its roof.
He said paramedics removed the woman from
the vehicle and once stable she was transported to a nearby hospital for
further care and the man died on the scene.
The exact details of the cause of the
accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
