The Opposition to Urban Tolling said the ruling by Advertising Standards Authority of South Africa against advertising by the South African National Roads Agency Limited is a demonstration of the importance of active citizenship.

ASA found that in all three complaints against Sanral the advertising was misleading and unsubstantiated.

Outa Spokesperson John Clarke said these were the adverts of the slighted  some month ago and its taking time SANRAL had time to try and produce substantiate evidence.

“They have not been able to do so and Vusi Mona is now saying these are subject to audit when they see crime now time to kill power to back up and saying the auditor’s will find these things this is ridiculous

SANRAL knows how many tags have been sold and he is being very evasive. I think people must see through this faulting as being another attempt of spin,” Clarke added.
