A man injured after a bus collided with three vehicles

A bus driver was injured when he lost control of the vehicle and collided with three other vehicles at a filling station in Malvern, Queensburg.

It is understood that he lost control of the bus and went down an embankment leading to the filling station.

ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found the patient lying next to the bus.

Bodasing added that one of the vehicles was crushed between the bus and another vehicle.

She said, an off duty nurse was attending to the bus driver. Fire and Rescue Services were also on scene.

Paramedics assessed the man, and found that he sustained moderate injuries.

She said paramedics took over treatment and transported him to hospital for further medical care. It is understood there were no passengers in the bus and vehicles at the time of the incident.

The exact cause of the incident is unknown, however, authorities were on scene for further investigations.
