Blood stock running low in the Western Cape

According to the Blood Transfusion Services blood stock levels in the province is running low.

Corporate Public Relations Officer at the Western Cape Blood Transfusion Service Marlize Mouton today said stock is only enough for three days, but it should be five to seven days.

Mouton has urged the public to donate blood if you are between the ages of 16 to 65 and are in good health.

Blood can be donated at 22 Long Street CDB and N1 City, shop 40B.  For information the public can call 021 507 6300 or SMS blood to 33507.
