Neasa heading to the Labour Court

Lusanda Bill
14 November 2014

The National Employers Association of South Africa is today returning to the Labour Court in Johannesburg.

This follows an application that was brought to prevent the Metal and Engineering Industry Bargaining Council, from requesting Minister of Labour to extend the July 2014 agreement between the federation Seifsa and trade unions.

An interim relief was granted by the court on the 25th of September this year.

Neasa Spokesperson Sya van der Walt-Potgieter said they are hopeful that the case will be successful and that we will stop any other person approaching the minister at all.
