The Inkatha Freedom Party said corruption in the country is spiraling out of control.

This follows the release of the Transparency International’s 2014 Corruption Perceptions Index which showed that South Africa scored 44 out of 100 ranked number 67 out of 175 countries that were part of the survey.

IFP National Chairperson Blessed Gwala said corruption in the country is receiving little or no attention at all.

We are calling on government to change the strategy and do something that will eradicate corruption and use the right people for the job because the job propels are one of the issues that actually cause corruption in this country,” Gwala added.
