About a hundred homes have been destroyed in Denver last night in Johannesburg.
Emergency services spokesperson Synock Mamatobako said, “They are not sure how many people are displaced because most people aren't around because they have gone home for Christmas.”
“An assessment will be done on Saturday to determine the extend of the damage,” Mamatobako said.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
