Mpumalanga premier spokesperson Mabutho Sithole has been removed from his post following the alleged claims that he bribed a journalist.
On Friday, City Press journalist Sizwe Sama Yende laid a charge of corruption against Sithole who allegedly paid him R5 000 to drop a corruption story involving Mabuza.
Sama Yende was to publish a story on a R230m tender to supply farms with equipment.
