Almost 200 people have died on South Africa’s roads since the start of the December holidays.
Traffic officials are expecting a large amount of traffic as many people are about to go on holiday.
The Road Traffic Management Corporation Ashraf Ishmael said they have noticed many of the contributing factors to road accidents remain the same despite repeated warnings.
He said motorists are driving too fast and don’t keep a safe following distance.
