The National Youth Development Agency has condemned the disturbance of Cope members at the 17th World Festival of Youth and Students.
NYDA spokesperson Andile Lungisa said hundreds of Cope members stormed the venue under false pretences.
Cope members attempted to use part of the Tshwane Events Centre in Pretoria to have their own conference.
But police managed to bring the situation under control and removed them from the venue.
