Two girls killed in a car accident in the Eastern Cape

An accident in the Eastern Cape has claimed the lives of two young girls and injured one girl this morning.

A car lost control and smashed into the two girls today.

The accident happened on the road between Port St Johns and Flagstaff.

Arrive Alive spokesperson Tsepo Machaea said the driver apparently lost control of his car and hit three girls who were walking on the pavement.

The girl who was injured was immediately rushed to St Elizabeth hospital in Lusikisiki.
