Another shack fire has claimed the life of a man in Khayelitsha on Saturday night.
Cape Town Fire Service said ten wood-and-iron structures were gutted in the Endlovini informal settlement of Harare.
40 people were left homeless because of the fire and they all found shelter with family members and friends.
The cause of the fire is still not known but an investigation is underway.
