DA blames the ANC Youth League for protests in Cape Town

The Democratic Alliance on Wednesday said that they have evidence that the ANC Youth League is behind so-called service delivery protests in Cape Town.

Four people have lost their lives in these service delivery protests.

DA leader Helen Zille said that they have been warning President Jacob Zuma for over two years that the ANCYL in the Western Cape is out of control.

Cape Town mayor Patricia de Lille said that the protests are politically motivated.

She added that out of these so called service delivery protest there are no memorandums they just burn tyres and block the roads.
