The National Sea Rescue Institute rescue crew are still continuing to search for a 28-year-old man who went missing at Yzerfontein Beach.

NSRI Spokesperson Craig Lambinon said it appears that while the man was swimming he disappeared beneath the surf from unknown causes.

Lambinon said the police diving unit is continuing with the search today.

“Despite an intensive search by the NSRI Yzerfontein on Sunday no sign of the man was found therefore the search is continuing today” Lambinon added.
