Two police officers part of five who were arrested last night will be appearing in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court today in connection with armed robberies and jewellery store heists.
A number of stolen goods, firearms and ammunition were confiscated by the Hawks.
The suspects are expected to be linked to a fatal robbery at a Northgate jewellery store in Randburg in October.
The other three were arrested on Friday in connection with a robbery in Jeppestown.
