Two children were poisoned by their mother with an insect killer Freedom Park yesterday.
The two children aged two and five were reported to be “barely alive” by the time the paramedics arrived at the scene.
The children’s father told police he was sleeping when the incident occurred.
The children are in a stable condition and recovering at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.
Police say they are still waiting for blood tests to verify what happened before they could start an investigation on the incident.
