Western Cape MEC of Community Safety Dan Plato this week hosted the 18th instalment of the Provincial Policing Needs and Priorities consultation process in Grassy Park.

MEC Plato said it is important for communities to use the consultation process as an opportunity to have their say on their safety concerns.

Ministerial Spokesperson Ewald Botha said the meeting was well attended by various institutions, public at large and also safety organisations.

“MEC Plato looks forward in the interim results and final results being included to the Provincial Policing Needs and Priorities documents to be submitted to the National Minster of Police for his consideration, when allocating resources to the province,” Botha added.
