Gauteng collision leaves two dead

A collision between a minibus taxi and a car in Sebokeng, Gauteng has left two people were dead and 12 injured this morning.

ER24 spokesperson Vanessa Jackson said, “The Toyota slammed into the side of the minibus taxi as it was turning. “

The taxi rolled several times.

The driver in the Toyota Corolla as well as a man in the taxi died on the scene.

Jackson added that the paramedics arrived at the scene to find some of the patients lying on the road including three people who were still trapped inside the mangled taxi.

The injured had to be removed with the Jaws of Life from the taxi.
