A three hour hostage drama has finally come to an end at the Reiger Park Police Station.
Earlier today, a man who was in the holding cells stole a passing police officer’s gun and started firing shots wounding the officer.
This resulted in a hostage drama where no-one was able to leave the police station because they have to pass the cells to get out.
It is not clear how the police managed to arrest the man but according to media reports a second shot was fired.
No injuries were reported
He face charges of attempted murder.
