The state asked the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court for more time as they study police dockets and evidence in the family child pornography case.

Eight family members on four smallholdings in the north of Pretoria were arrested during a raid on Thursday last week.

The children included in the case are between the ages of 4 and 15 were taken to a safe house.

Police believe the toddlers were raped by their relatives and groomed to have sex with each other on film.

Police say more arrests were expected soon.
