A two-month old baby girl was abandoned in bushes in Philippi East.
She was found in Acacia Park on Tuesday after children playing near the bushes heard her cry.
It appeared that the baby girl did not sustain any visible injuries and was taken to Red Cross Hospital for a check-up.
