The Democratic Alliance has learnt that when schools re open in the province of Limpopo during 2012 there will be no new textbooks for Grades 1, 2 ,3 and 10 learners.
The reason of the delays is due to sloppy planning.
The textbook catalogues were released on the 19 of September 2011 and contained many errors.
The provision of new textbooks was a central part of Minister Motshekga’s education reforms.
