The Police Minister Mr Nathi Mthethwa has issued a strong message for criminals that the police will be out in full force this festive season.
He said anyone trying to break the Christmas spirit of law abiding citizens through crime will be dealt with accordingly.
Crime is always on the increase this time of year and more specifically on Christmas day. Criminals will be taking full advantage this festive season.
The police will be beefed up in all areas to ensure the safety of all citizens .
