Police are on the hunt for the male nurse that allegedly raped a mentally ill patient in a Durban hospital Sunday night.
The man believed to be a nurse supposedly raped a patient in the shower at the hospital.
The 30-year-old man pushed the patient against the sink and told her to be silent before attempting to rape her. He then fled on foot after being questioned by police.
This news has left the Provincial Health Department shocked because patients come to hospital to be taken care of and not to be desecrated.
