An accident in Durban leaves one person dead

A man this morning died after he was kncoked by a car after he tried to cross the road during peak traffic and landed in front of a vehicle on the M19 in Durban. 

ER24 Spokesperson Russel Meiring said when they arrived on scene they found that the man was lying on the raod and two vehicles were extensively damaged.

Meiring said the man died on the scene and two drivers were left injured and were taken to hospital.

The exact details of the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
