The South African Democratic Teachers Union in the Free State said it is disappointed and angered by the return of the Departments Director General Bobby Soobrayan.

Sadtu said the department has not handled the situation of Soobrayan well despite evidence that he has messed up education and educators have not benefited since he has been in charge of the administration.

Sadtu Free State Provincial Secretary Moloi Mokholoane said as Sadtu they are not happy with the way matter was handled because even in meetings they only invited people who are loyal to the Director General.

Mokhoalane added that the 0,5 that they have been calling for will never be realised with the DG still in charge.
