The Western Cape Regional Land Claims Commission said it is concerned about the disruption caused by the District Six claimants at a meeting held on Monday.

The meeting was to discuss problems relating to the storage of refuse bins in District Six, but it quickly turned into another fight.

Department of Rural Development and Land Reform Vuyani Nkasayi said the meeting was a set-up to air personal and political grievances.

Nkasayi said the district 6 Beneciary Trust was responsible for the development of phase1 and 2 of the site.
