Several communities
were left reeling after some homes were swept away and others flooded.
Abahlali
Basemjondolo say this would not have happened if the councillor had given
people houses.
Abahlali
Basemjondolo General Secretary Bandile Mdlalose government officials promised people
the houses back in 2010 but till date nothing has been done.
The heavy rains have claimed the
lives of 10 people, KwaZulu-Natal
authorities confirmed today.
