Top Crime Intelligence officials appeared at the Pretoria Magistrate's Court on Tuesday on coruption charges and they were released on R10,00.
The officials are alleged to have defrauded a secret slush fund of R1,1 million.
Hawks spokesperson Paul Ramaloko the pair is facing charges of theft, fraud and corruption for allegedly benefitting from a secret crime intelligence slush fund.
Meanwhile Crime Watch says this country has long way to go in fighting crime succesfully.
Crime Watch Comunications Manager Bongi Mlangeni said South Africans need to work together in order to fight crime.
