The case against a police officer arrested for house breaking has been postponed until the 20th of January for a formal bail application.

It is alleged that BJ Trading Store, which houses a supermarket, butchery and a bottle store, was allegedly burgled last week Friday.

Entry had been gained by forcing open a door and a large quantity of meat and liquor had been stolen.

Captain Thulani Zwane said some of the stolen goods have been recovered and the suspects reside in the area.

Zwane added that the investigation continues and more arrests are imminent.
