A search is continuing for an eleven year
old boy who went missing while assisting his friend in Kenton Main Beach
National Sea
Rescue Institue Spokesperson Craig Lambinon said he reportely went in to the
surf to try assist his friend, a female who was in difficulty in rip currents.
“His friend was
resuced by bystanders but the male remains missing and a search is continuing
for that child.
The teenager
has been tranported to hospital by EMS
ambulance in a serious condition but stable condition,” Lambinon added.
