A Cape Town based mother of
three children has been arrested, after she had disappeared following
allegations that her children were sexually violated. FCS unit was notified
about the alleged violations, after the children were taken for medical
examination by the Social workers of ACVV Cape Town.
Sergeant Hilton Malila says
the mother is just know as Shanaaz Shaik was on her way to Durban with the children
on Friday.
Sergeant Hilton Malila
explains, “The FCS Unit in Cape Town
arrested the mother of three that was circulated as wanted in the media during
the early course of last month”.
“The suspect
will appear in the Cape Town magistrate court today. The outcome of the court
case is not yet known”.
“But currently
the children have been placed in the safety of one of the family members
situated in Durban. Investigation against the mother is continuing at this
stage”.
