The celebration of National
Police Day today, asks of all South Africans to remember the sacrifices that
the Men and Women in blue make every day to provide safety service delivery for
all who live in the country.
Minister Plato salutes the
everyday Heroes who serve the communities tirelessly.
He encourages people in the
Western Cape to report positive stories about their interactions with the
police.
MEC Spokesperson Ewald Botha explains…..
“Mr Plato salutes their every effort to do their job despite the recent
frustrates they endure and the backlash they might face and critics as they try
to uphold the law and keep everyone safe.”
He
added that “Mr Plato wishes that every person in the province and South Africa
will understand that although that bad habits exists in SAPS, there are hundreds
and thousands of others that are good.”
