AfriForum Youth says they are concerned with the statements by KwaZulu-Natal teacher’s union SADTU’s call for lenient marking of black students.

AfriForum Youth’s Ernst Roets says, “The statement by Mbuyiseni Mathonsi is far fetched, uninformed, irresponsible and racially obsessed.”

He said, “The biggest problem is the issue of mother tongue education.

“We can no longer blame apartheid. Sixteen years later a serious of problems have been created which did not exist before.”
