The Department of Correctional Services says that they will question the decision to release two of the Waterkloof four on parole.
The department refuses to approve of a court order that entails the release of Gert van Schalkwyk and Reinach Tiedt.
The Zonderwater parole board is to explain these actions to the department’s commissioner Tom Moyane tomorrow.
The Waterkloof four was convicted in 2001when they beat a homeless man to death in a public park.
