Selebi may not survive shock

Jackie Selebi’s lawyers are quoted as saying the former national police commissioners is in a "really very, very critical" state.
According to media reports, Selebi’s legal team is this morning asking the South Gauteng High Court to postpone his imprisonment until his health improves.
The National Prosecuting Authority’s Mthunzi Mhaga has confirmed that they had been approached with the request, but referred the applicants to the appeals registrar.
Selebi was hospitalised on Friday after losing his case in the Supreme Court of Appeal.
