Zuma honoured in Nigeria

A Nigerian university has awarded President Jacob Zuma an honorary doctorate in philosophy.

The ceremony took place at the American University of Nigeria, in Yola, Adamawa.

Zuma was honoured for his contribution to education and human development.

In accepting the degree, the President stressed the importance of quality education to build the human resources required for the Africa’s development.
