Entrepreneurship awareness campaign launched

The Western Cape Government today launched a two-month drive entrepreneurship awareness campaign in the province to highlight the support offered to new and existing businesses.

MEC of Finance, Economic Development and Tourism Allan Winde said in the past year about 30 000 entrepreneurs have accessed the Western Cape Government Small business support.

Winde said we need to find spaces that interest entrepreneurs, does not hold them back and business is the backbone of the economic.

He added that we understand that there is still some red tape in some areas and there is a need to reduce that red tape.
