Two people, traveling in a Corsa and Mercedes Benz, were fatally injured in an accident that occurred on the N2, from near Riversdale earlier today.
The Western Cape Department of Health's Metro Emergency Medical Services and Metro Rescue attended to the accident.
Both were declared dead on arrival.
“One other occupant of the Corsa, was seriously injured and was taken to George Hospital by Air Mercy helicopter.
“The female driver of the Mercedes, was seriously injured and taken per ambulance to Bayview MediClinic in Mosselbay. Three occupants of the car , two females and one male, sustained mild injuries, and were taken per ambulance to Bayview MediClinic,” said Senior Communications Officer for Metro EMS Anzelle Smit.
