NW Government plans to alleviate the shortage of water in the province

North Western Premier Thandi Modise and Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs Edna Molewa are expected to sign a memorandum of understanding about a project to alleviate water shortage across the North West. 

Premier Modise Spokesperson Lesiba Kgwele said low lying areas covering about 80 percent of Mothutlung started receiving water from their taps today. 

Kgwele said R1, 8billion is to be spent on infrastructure in the Moses Kotane Municipality.

Kgwele said the department plans to put some borehole in the area so that they can provide the villagers.
