A Pedestrian knocked over by a bus in CT

A 42-year-old man was injured this morning after he was knocked over by a bus on Adderley Road in Cape Town CBD.

ER24 spkesperson Russel Meiring says ER24 paramedics, along with Metro services, arrived on the scene and found the patient lying in the middle of the bus lane.

On assessment, paramedics found that the man had sustained only moderate injuries.

Meiring says fortunately, no other injuries were reported on the scene.

Paramedics treated the patient and thereafter transported him to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Fortunately, no-one one the bus sustained any injuries.

Local authorities were on scene for further investigations he concluded.
