Dept of Home Affairs not bothered by homophobic pastor

The Home Affairs Department says it is focusing on its legal proceedings ahead of the scheduled visit by gay-bashing pastor, Steven Anderson.

It also stated that it isn’t prepared to respond to his attack on Minister Malusi Gigaba. In a YouTube video, Anderson can be seen accusing “that Jigaba” of being a “wicked sinner” for threatening to impose strict conditions on his activities when he visits the country later this month.

The Arizona-based pastor’s homophobic teachings have sparked outrage from members of the LGBTI community, who have called on Home Affairs to ban him from entering the country.

The department says it won’t in any way entertain Anderson and will update South Africans once a decision has been made on his scheduled visit.
