Man injured in car accident on R61

This afternoon a man was injured when after his bakkie rolled on a gravel road between the R61 near the railway in Alberton.

Emergency Services arrived on the scene and found the man seated on the embankment being treated by a medic from the local authorities.

He was assessed and it was found that the man had fortunately escaped with only minor injuries to his leg.

Thereafter he was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.


Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
