Shooting leaves one critical.

A shooting incident on Kelly Road in Brakpan left a man critically injured this afternoon.

Emergency services and local authorities arrived on the scene and found a cash-in-transit vehicle parked on the side of the road.

One man was lying on the pavement while several others were found walking around on the scene.

The man was assessed and it was found that he had sustained several gunshot wounds to his legs and arms.

Once treated, the man was transported to Life Glynwood Hospital for further treatment.

The security members had been attending to a building on Kelly Road when they were allegedly attacked by an unknown number of gunmen.
