The Food and Allied Workers’ Union supports the ongoing  and noble struggle of  hundreds of workers at Robertson Winery in demand of a decent wage to improve their livelihoods.

FAWU’s Media Officer Dominique Martin said “FAWU supports the struggle of hundreds of Robertson Winery workers.

These employers make huge profits of these workers backs who work long hours and are dedicated.

FAWU feels that these employers can give their workers are tangible decent increase because they’re in a apposition to do so.

We also feel that thinking of our history especially concerning farm workers in rural ares.

Employers should feel compelled to make a real difference in their compensation and give them a decent living wage.”
