Lusanda Bill
14 December 2011
Lawyers acting for British businessman Shrien Dewani say it will be inhumane to extradite him to South Africa.
Dewani is not attending his appeal hearing in London because he is suffering from post-traumatic stress and depression.
South African authorities want him to stand trial in Cape Town for allegedly arranging the killing of his bride, Anni, in November last year.
His lawyers argue that insufficient healthcare in South Africa could pose a risk to his life.
