Port Elizabeth will be the focus of today’s 23rd commemoration of World Aids Day.
President Jacob Zuma will unveil government's new four-year plan to fight HIV and Aids at an event at the city’s Wolfson stadium.
Deputy President and chairperson of the South African National Aids Council Kgalema Motlanthe will also be present at the Kwa-Zakhele commemoration.
Smaller communities will not be left out. The Free State government’s main event is being held at Smithfield in the Xhariep District Municipality.
