Zuma called to intervene in the death sentence of SA woman

The Democratic Alliance says President Jacob Zuma must intervene in the execution of Janice Bronwyn Linden.

A South African woman was convicted of drug smuggling in China.

Linden was found guilty by a Chinese court in July 2009 for being in possession of three-kilograms of drugs.

The DA’s Stevens Mokgalapa says drug mules should be punished, but this is clearly a case where the punishment does not fit the crime.
