The Hawks on Wednesday said four Ugandan nationals who were also traditional healers were arrested in Amalinda, East London, for defrauding a former teacher of more than R1 million.

Captain Paul Ramaloko said the teacher lost all her pension money and had to resign from her job in 2012 after the traditional healer took all her money.

Ramaloko said they were defrauding people under the pretence of the traditional doctors

Ramoloko added that they are not facing charges of fraud but they will appear in court on Friday.
