The African Christian Democratic Party in the Western Cape said it is concerned about schools that are in gang affected areas and the tremendous stress they are under to perform under unnatural circumstances.

ACDP Provincial Leader Ferlon Christians said teacher burnout is also a big stumbling block to improve education in the province.

Christians said we are asking MEC of Education Donald Grant what is the plan of action to assist our teachers from burnout, because they are valuable and we need to treat them well.

“Various authorities need to show the residents in poor communities that they care about the vital issues, like community safety, education and improving their economic status” Christians added.
